Bioshock Infinite: Delayed *sigh* Again

As I awoke this morning from a much needed slumber, I went on with my morning routines as I usually do not suspecting even a little that my emotions were about to be yet another chew toy for the ravenous heart stomping gents at Irrational Games. Bioshock Infinite is no longer being released in February, and has now been pushed back to March 26th.

This is the second time it’s been delayed due to fine tuning and bug fixing. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Well, I am ready to be fooled yet again if need be. I’m just a sucker for sweet promises of skyline travel and songbirds. I know I know, sometimes a girl’s just got to throw in the towel and move on, but I can’t give up on them just yet. The game play we saw a few short months ago looks beyond beautiful and even though they wont be including any multi-player, the game will surely be bug free and in the words of creative director Ken Levine, ” More extraordinary”.

So folks, turn off that Chris Isaak album, stop shoveling triple chocolate explosion ice cream into your tear-soaked faces, buck-up, and instead, take the words of Tammy Wynette to heart: And tell the world you love him, keep giving all the love you can, stand by your man game. Even if it takes 12 more delays, this game will only end in a happily ever after for not just it’s numero uno (me), but everyone.
