New Videogame Releases – November 2021

Ready or not, here they come!

With the year coming to an end, developers would look to close their year off on a high note by dropping their best entries and making a case for themselves in the run-up to the game awards 6 weeks from now. With that being said, November is lined up with some much-anticipated titles which are bound to keep players busy.

Check out the list of games coming out in November 2021:

The Legend of Tianding – 11/1

The Legend of Tianding is a sidescrolling action game about Liao Tianding, the legendary Taiwanese Folk Hero. Explore the dazzling streets of Colonial Japanese Taiwan in the early 20th century, as you rob the rich, feed the poor, and expose the darkness lurking in the heart of Taipei.

The Legend of Tianding was released on November 1st for the Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).

Sword of the Necromancer – 11/1

What would you do to bring back someone you love? Help Tama to save Koko using the powers of the forbidden Sword of the Necromancer. Reach the depths of the dungeon, defeat the 5 guardians, and the Necromancer itself to gain enough soul power to bring Koko back from the dead, no matter the cost.

Conway: Disappearance at Dahlia View – 11/2

Unpacking – 11/2

Unpacking is a zen puzzle game about the familiar experience of pulling possessions out of boxes and fitting them into a new home. Part block-fitting puzzle, part home decoration, you are invited to create a satisfying living space while learning clues about the life you’re unpacking.

Unpacking was released on November 2nd for Linux, Mac, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.

Cupid Parasite – 11/2

First Class Trouble – 11/2

First Class Trouble is a party game where players must work together and against each other to survive a disaster. The goal is to shut down a deadly A.I. Some players are impostors, secretly playing as human-looking killer robots intent on betraying the other players.

Tunche – 11/2

Tunche is a charming, hand-drawn beat’em up hack and slash game with roguelike elements, co-op, and a pinch of shaman witchcraft. Choose one of the five heroes, master their skill-sets and ultimate abilities defeat epic bosses, and unravel the secrets of the mysterious Amazonian jungle!

Tunche was released on November 2nd for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.

Knockout City – 11/2

Team up and duke it out with rival Crews in Knockout City, where EPIC DODGEBALL BATTLES settle the score in team-based multiplayer matches. Throw, catch, pass, dodge, and tackle your way to dodgeball dominance!

Knockout City was released on November 2nd for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

World War Z – 11/2

World War Z’s co-op campaign focuses on unique survivor stories and missions around the globe, including New York, Moscow, and Jerusalem. Use traps, barriers, and the environment strategically to stay alive while unleashing a storm of firepower with a variety of weapons on the unrelenting hordes of the undead.

World War Z was released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 16th, 2019, and released for the Nintendo Switch on November 2nd, 2021.

The Solitaire Conspiracy – 11/3

The Solitaire Conspiracy was released for PC on October 6th, 2020, and on June 11th, 2021 for the Nintendo Switch. The game will release for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on November 3rd, 2021.

Super Sami Roll – 11/4

Sami’s on a mission to rescue his friend Vera and he needs your help! Join him in this exhilarating, colorful 3D platformer and fast roll, air-grapple, and jump to save her!

Where Cards Fall – 11/4

A Boy and His Blob – 11/4

Mr. Driller DrillLand – 11/4

The Binding of Isaac: Repentance is the final DLC coming to The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth.

Call of Duty: Vanguard – 11/5

Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation Code Fairy – 11/5

Jurassic World Evolution 2 – 11/9

The Smurfs: Mission Vileaf – 11/16

In his dark laboratory, the evil wizard Gargamel has discovered a formula allowing him to create a wicked plant, called Vileaf. This plant produces “Viletrap” seeds, which can attract Smurfs and imprison them in vegetal traps! But these Viletrap plants are also a great danger for the forest, as they are highly toxic, especially for the sarsaparilla fields! In order to fix this dreadful situation, Papa Smurf decided to ask some of his fellow Smurfs to help him find the ingredients for an antidote powerful enough to eradicate the Vileaf once and for all and heal the plants afflicted by this curse. An ace Smurf team, featuring Hefty, Smurfette, Brainy, and Chef, goes on an adventure to complete this mission. All of these 4 characters are playable over the course of the game.

Marsupilami: Hoobadventure – 11/16

Punch, Twister, and Hope are three Marsupilamis living a peaceful life in Palombia. Their lives are about to take a drastic turn when they accidentally open a sarcophagus whilst playing with debris on a beach, releasing a mysterious ghost cursing all the animals! Thankfully, our three Marsupilamis are immune to the curse and decide to set out on an adventure and find the ghost and reverse the curse. Inspired by the comic book Marsupilami from Franquin, this 2.5D platformer will take you on a colorful journey through the Palombian jungle, a coastal city, and even an abandoned temple. Jump, punch, dash, and swing with your tail as only Marsupilamis do!

Surviving the Aftermath – 11/16

In Surviving the Aftermath, players will build and manage a colony of survivors in the shadow of a world-ending event. Resources are scarce following the apocalypse, and survival requires mastery of complex systems to optimize production and colony management to ensure nothing is wasted. Players will construct buildings, manage colonists, adapt to natural disasters, and more in an effort to restore civilization. Surviving the Aftermath is more than a colony builder and enables players to go beyond the shelter to explore a dangerous world filled with unique biomes, hazards, bandits, and more. Recruit and send out teams of Specialists to gather resources and intelligence about the world around the colony. Players can see what their teams have discovered by utilizing a vast overworld map that adds layers of strategic gameplay not typically included in a colony builder.

Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One

In this story-driven detective thriller, a young Sherlock Holmes struggles to prove himself as he navigates an exotic, dangerous island in the Mediterranean to investigate the mystery of his mother’s death.

Star Wars Jedi Knight Collection – 11/16

The original game has been faithfully reproduced and colorfully revitalized for Nintendo Switch. The sense of the scale of the towns and routes has been carefully preserved, and fans who played the original game will recognize many familiar places. The game has been updated with the easy-to-understand, player-friendly conveniences introduced in recent Pokemon core series video games, in addition to up-close-and-personal Pokemon battle scenes. Trainers will choose either Turtwig, Chimchar, or Piplup to be their first partner Pokemon before setting off on their journey.
