Details for “Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer” DLC [New Trailer]
For those who have been anxiously waiting for the upcoming sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, an add-on to Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Feat. The Legend of Zelda might be just enough to tide you over. The rhythm-based adventure game featuring Link and Princess Zelda is getting three upcoming DLC packs, which you can check out in the trailer below.
DLC Pack 1 is a character pack, including new characters from The Legend of Zelda lore like Impa, Shadow Link, and Shadow Zelda, as well as Aria and Frederick from Crypt of the NecroDancer. Each character will utilize a unique weapon as the player travels across each map to save Hyrule.
DLC Pack 2, a melody pack, will include a whopping 39 new songs to add onto the already expansive track list.
The third DLC Pack, known as Symphony of the Mask, is arguably the most exciting add-on. This pack will allow players to play as Skull Kid from Majora’s Mask in a new story mode, utilizing various masks found across different Zelda titles. Similarly to the mechanics in Majora’s Mask, each mask Skull Kid uses grants him different abilities.
DLC Pack 1 is currently available to buy, with the rest of the DLC being available sometime before October of this year. However, you can also purchase the Season Pass, granting you all three DLC packs as they’re released, along with additional costumes for both Link and Zelda. On top of that, a physical copy for the Switch will be available with all DLCs included around October.
