The Wolverine DVD/Blu-Ray gets a December Release date plus an extended cut
A few months ago, Director James Mangold made the reveal that he had an extended edition planed for the recent X-Men film, The Wolverine. Now, Fox has revealed the release date for the film, along with a confirmation that there is indeed an Extended Cut, but with a catch.
The Wolverine, will debut its 4-disc 3D Blu-ray Unleashed Extended Edition, 2-disc Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD on December 3.
Yes, the only way to get the Extended Cut is to buy the super deluxe 3D Blu-Ray set. Check out the details of the sets below:

Despite some nonsense from Fox’s Lawyers that TCN had to deal with from earlier in the day, our review of the film is a good indicator that some of us will still be picking up the film. The biggest drawback is that to get the version we want, we will have to buy it in the most useless of formats imaginable, 3D. At least they didn’t pull a Paramount and screwed everyone over.
