Shailene Woodley talks about her excitement for The Amazing Spider-Man sequel

For those of you who don’t already know, actress Shailene Woodley nabbed the coveted role of Mary Jane Watson in the upcoming sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man.

Recently MTV news caught up with Woodley at the Sundance Film Festival and was able to get her comments on the role of Mary Jane Watson, and while she couldnt give away anything about the role, she did have this to say:

“Spider-Man has always been my favorite super hero dude, since I was a little girl. I think there’s something really special about flying. When I watched the previous Spider-Man [with] Andrew Garfield, he made me feel invincible,” she said. “I think Marc Webb is amazing. I’m so stoked to work with Andrew and Emma [Stone], they’re the best of the best.”

And when asked if she had any thoughts on the possibility of fans seeing some sort of love triangle in the next film, Woodley commented:

“Honestly, I don’t know too many details about the film yet. But yeah, we’ll see.”

With filming expected to start next month, its likely that more details will hit the web about potential plot details, as well as spoilerific photos.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to hit theaters May 2nd, 2014.
