Final Fantasy III is now on the Amazon Kindle Fire & Fire HD

It has been a big year for Final Fantasy III. A few months back, Square Enix revealed that the PSP would be getting the updated port of Final Fantasy III in Japan (where surprisingly the PSP is still alive and well), and shortly after came the huge reveal that they would be localizing it as a PSN download for the PSP and PSVita.

Now thanks to the efforts of Amazon.com and Square Enix, you can play this wonderful game on the Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD thanks to the Amazon App store.

The new version of the game sports full on touch controls  From the virtual joy stick to help move around, all the way to the touch controls for the battle system. The game sports all the changes and updates that the PSP/PSVita has, but is on a much bigger and higher resolution screen (that is if you have the Kindle Fire HD).

The only real hitch, is its $15.99. A fee that most fans wouldn’t complain about, but if you already have this game, it might be a little steep to re-buy it again for that price. However, having played the game, I can safely say that it is well worth the price.

Final Fantasy III is now available on the Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD and can be purchased on the Amazon App Store for $15.99.
