Geoff Johns Talks About His Green Lanturn Set Visit.

Fans of DC comics know the name Geoff Johns well. Aside from recently being appointed as the Chief Creative Officer of DC Entertainment, Geoff’s work as a comic writer gave us some of the most interesting comic runs as of late. From Green Lantern Rebirth to the Blackest Night series, and in some fans opinions his writing even fixed Smallville with the key episodes he wrote. Geoff Johns has shown comic fans that he has what it takes to write some truly awesome comics.

Recently Geoff got the chance to visit the New Orleans set of Warner Brothers and DC Entertainment’s newest comic book movie Green Lantern.

On his twitter he posted:

Back from an amazing trip to Green Lantern town a.k.a. New Orleans!! Ryan IS Hal. And Mark Strong is going to be a brilliant Sinestro.

Then two minutes later his posted:

Kilowog, the Guardians, Oa…all breathtaking. The age of Green Lantern is upon us!!

So for some fans these latest updates have put to rest the casting of Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, and for me its just simply great to hear such praise from the man who got me interested in Green Lantern Comics again.
