Constantine Co-Star Drops News About A Sequel

Actor Peter Stormare announces a sequel to ‘Constantine’ is in the works.

John Constantine is one of the most well-known figures in comics who is not a superhero. One of DC Comic’s most famous magic users, the cheeky, chain-smoking Brit, is most recognized for his various appearances in different DC books over the years and showing up in different media properties as well.

One of the most famous of these is the 2005 film Constantine, directed by Francis Lawrence and starring Keanu Reeves as the titular character.

Actor Peter Stormare, famed for his roles in shows and films including American Gods, John Wick: Chapter 2 and Commander Hamilton, played Lucifer Morningstar in the movie and delivered an amazing performance. The calm and sinister portrayal is regarded as one of the best takes of the Devil of all time.

Now the actor has taken to Instagram to confirm what so many people have been wondering about for years. Whether or not a sequel will ever happen.

While the post itself gives nothing away it is still a balm to the souls of the legions of fans of the John Constantine comics and the film. For now all people can do is be patient, wait and re-watch the first movie more to keep the hype train going.
