Why Now is the Perfect Time for WB to Release the Snyder Cut of “Justice League”

In the current pandemic, Warner Bros. has the perfect opportunity to #releasethesnydercut.

Justice League was released back in 2017 and was poorly received to say the least. However, once it was revealed that Zack Snyder’s original vision was actually filmed, fans wanted to see the true version that Snyder had intended. For 2 years now we’ve been waiting and asking Warner Bros to release the Snyder Cut. Now might be the perfect time for WB to do so.

With COVID-19 going around people are beginning to self-quarantine themselves. With not much to do at home, Universal Studios has been the first to release some of their recent movies on VOD like The Invisible Man, Emma, and The Hunt. Not to mention, Birds of Prey will be released early on digital Tuesday.  With people having this much time on their hands now, and other films getting the ball rolling with VOD, WB has a golden opportunity.

From what we know about the Snyder Cut, it’d be over 3 hours long. People are more willing to watch longer movies now that they have so much downtime. WB could release it on the DC Universe app or HBO Max. It’s sure to please fans and gain revenue, the two most important reasons for WB to release the Snyder Cut.

With COVID-19 going around people are going to be spending most if not all of their time at home looking for ways to pass the time. With all the other studios releasing their movies and this move being successful, WB has the opportunity to get in on this. The Snyder Cut has never had a better time to be released, so your move Warner Bros.
