Tell me about yourself and being first introduced to cosplay. What got you interested in doing cosplay?

My name is Bob. I grew up reading comic books and watching superhero cartoons. I was introduced to cosplay by my friend John Rodriguez. I always competed with my friends for the best Halloween costume and John introduced me to some of the top costume designers.

What was your first cosplay?

My first cosplay was my old Batman beyond suit. Made by superhero concepts the guys from Australia.

Do you have any upcoming cosplays you are excited about?

I’m excited about my new Megatron suit it’s about 12 feet tall just getting used to walking in it.


If money and time was no object, what is your dream cosplay?

My dream cosplay would probably be Galatus.

What is your favorite experience from doing cosplay?

My favorite experience was probably winning best overall costume with my warmachine suit at the Philly, con

What is the most fun about cosplay?

The most fun part about cosplay is the reaction I get from young kids. I love visiting sick kids and just surprising people randomly in public.


What is the most difficult or challenging thing about cosplay?

The most difficult thing about cosplay is wearing the suits for long periods of time.


What do you like doing when you aren’t working on cosplay projects?

When I’m not working on cosplay I’m usually lifting weights I’m really into fitness.

What’s your biggest pet peeve at cons?

My biggest pet peeve at cons is getting around sometimes it is so crowded I can’t move.

Which con would you most like to visit?

The con I would most like to visit would be the San Diego Comic Con.

If you weren’t a cosplayer, what would you be up to right now?

If I wasn’t a cosplayer I’d probably spend more time in the gym.

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?

The most interesting thing I’ve seen this week is probably Rob Pattinson’s new bat suit.

What is one message you would give to beginning cosplayers?

Best advice I would give to a beginning cosplayer just don’t give up everybody starts somewhere.
