New Star Wars Manga ‘The Legends of Luke Skywalker’ Out Now

According to Slash Film, VIZ Media, a Japanese manga publishing company, is collaborating with Lucasfilm to bring Luke Skywalker to life Japanese style.

One of the most unique aspects of the Star Wars franchise is its canon timeline which is expressed through multiple mediums including movies, animated & live action television, novels, comics, and more. While Lucas’ franchise has been expressed in manga before in film adaptations, Star Wars: The Legends of Luke Skywalker: The Manga will be the first original content to arrive in the Japanese format. According to Slash Film, VIZ Media, a Japanese manga publishing company, is collaborating with Lucasfilm to bring Luke Skywalker to life Japanese style.

The story has been written and drawn by well-known manga artists including Akira Himekawa, Haruichi, Subaru, Akira Fukaya, and Takashi Kisaki.
