And you thought this show couldn’t get any better. Newsarama recently caught up with showrunner Giancarlo Volpe about the shows success and its recent reveal that Sinestro would be finally making an appearance and it was revealed that his appearance will take place in the upcoming episode “Prisoner Of Sinestro” and confirmed that none other than Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy, Hellboy) will be voicing the iconic character.

“The folks at DC Entertainment politely asked us to back off of Sinestro “for now” because they weren’t really sure what his fate would be in the feature film [when we were in early development of the series]. They didn’t know if his turn would be in the first one or later, and if you’ve seen the film they do hint at his turn to the Yellow Lanterns in the credits scene.”

“So seeing that gave us permission. It was great to finally get to put him in, because it doesn’t feel quite like the Green Lantern universe unless he’s in it. And I suppose I can tell you, we got Ron Perlman to play Sinestro! So, he lends a very interesting take and perspective on Sinestro’s character. Plus that’s a cool sci-fi fan gem there.”
Ron_Perlman While Ron Perlman is no veteran to DC Comic/WB Voice work, in the past Perlman has voiced Slade (Deathstroke) in TEEN TITANS, as well as reprising the role in the new TEEN TITANS GO!, he has also lent his voice talents to Batman: The Brave and the Bold, STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS, The Batman, JUSTICE LEAGUE / JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED, SUPERMAN The Animated Series, and even provided the voice of Clayface in the early 90’s Batman cartoon.
The show itself is already a critical and fan success  and now the inclusion of Sinestro/Perlman seems to be a fans dream come true.
