LEGO officially announces ‘Back to the Future’ LEGO Sets

Woah, this is heavy Doc..” is the first thing that all fans are thinking right about now.  Earlier today, Lego officially approved, and will produce a Back to the Future Delorean set created on their very-own Kickstarter inspired page, Lego Cuusoo.

On that site, fans can design and create Lego sets, which if they reach 10,000 votes and endorsements from other fans, Lego  then takes the design and reviews it for potential production.

Thursday, Lego officially announced this set had been approved for 2013 release.

Damon Lindelof is Not returning to write the upcoming PROMETHEUS sequel

At the time it was assumed that writer Damon Lindelof, who was actually responsible for rewriting Jon Spaihts’ early draft of the movie and leading to the current draft that was made into the movie, would be returning, later expressed his resentment over returning to write the script for the upcoming sequel due to his commitment to other projects.

That’s exactly what a group of players from Minecraft Middle-Earth decided to do back in October 2010; and over two years later, the amount of progress they have made is astounding. Thousands of man hours have gone into this, from the core group that started it all, to the massive build events they have where they bring in people from the community to help out.
