Lightning gets a new look in the first official Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Trailer

Earlier this week the above image leaked onto the internet showing the first look at Lightning in her upcoming final appearance in Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII.

Last night however, A certain website seemingly broke their press embargo and revealed that Square Enix released a brand new trailer for the game which is presumably meant to be the official first look intended for the upcoming Jump Festa Event in Japan.

The biggest surprise of all is how completed this trailer feels, showcasing many things that fans were indeed worries about upon the first press reveal.

Hopefully this trailer seems to ease the minds of fans, because now I am officially excited for this game.

Square Enix reports that Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is due to release sometime in 2013.
