Awakening: The Art of Halo 4 is another fine art book brought to the masses of Videogame culture (as well as art lovers everywhere) by the fine people who published The Art of Assassins’ Creed III, Titan Books.
Awakening: The Art of Halo 4 is 192 pages of pure amazing art. It contains everything from full landscape portraits to concept art.
The Author, Paul Davies, has compiled a wonderful set of work that at times even makes you forget that you are looking at art from a videogame, its that good.

Bottom line: Like the last videogame inspired art book from Titan Books, Awakening: The Art of Halo 4 is amazing, if not better than the last one. While its certainly bigger, it is filled page to page with beautiful art.
The art is detailed beyond all belief, and if you are a fan of the Halo franchise (even if you didn’t like Halo 4) you owe it to yourself to check this book out, or buy it for the die hard fan in your family, because lets face it, it seems like today every family has a Halo fan in it.
If anything, the art itself makes it a great coffee table book and conversation starter.
