Dolph Lundgren Thinks Channing Tatum Or Chris Hemsworth Would be A Good HE-MAN for the future movie

Dolph Lundgren has recently been going on his rounds of promotions and interviews for his new movie, The Expendables 2, and recently had been getting tons of questions about the new He-Man and the Masters of the Universe film thats been reportedly in the works. For those who don’t know, he once played the title character of He-Man in the characters first live-action film in 1987 tittled Masters of the Universe, And when asked which young actor he thought could fill his shoes (and loincloth) he initially thought of Magic Mike’s Channing Tatum.

In an interview by the Huffington Post he was asked if there were any young actors that he thought would be a good fit for the role of He-Man.

It came out this week that there might be a new “Masters of the Universe” movie. Who would you pick to take over as He-Man?
Well, let’s see. You need somebody who’s well built and charming, I suppose. And he can deliver a couple of lines of dialogue, I guess more than I had [laughs]. I mean, Channing Tatum? I don’t know. I don’t know that many young actors. But he’s got a pretty good body. He’s got a naturally athletic body which you need, unless you make the guy wear a suit, like Batman. But if you need real muscles, you need somebody who is built.

What about Chris Hemsworth?
Yeah! That’s a good idea. That’s a cool idea, yeah.

So you’re on board?
I’m on board. I second that opinion.

While I agree that Chris Hemsworth would make a fantastic He-Man, I honestly don’t see that role happening for him due to his already full schedule thanks to Thor 2 and The Avengers 2, plus the recently revealed solo sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman, however, I could see his younger brother and another title character from The Expendables 2, Liam Hemsworth as the role. He has the look, and all he needs is to just bulk up. I could see it, but thats just my opinion.
