Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch Demo hits PSN today
Sony has officially announced that Namco Bandai will release a playable demo of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch on the PlayStation Network.
Up to this point, We’ve seen footage from a couple of Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch demos but nothing in English. One of them lets players explore a grassland field, while the other, and the most recent one, takes place on an erupting volcano.
Turns out the English demo is both of these combined. Officially The demo has two areas to explore and with it, two bosses.
The game is a beautiful merger of the mediums thanks to Level-5 and Studio Ghilibi. According to Wikipedia:
“The story of Ni no Kuni revolves around thirteen-year-old Oliver, a resident of Motorville, whose mother, Arie, suddenly dies after rescuing him from drowning. A doll, given to Oliver by his mother, is brought to life from his tears and reveals itself to be a male fairy named Drippy, who gives Oliver a book that allows him to use the power of magic and enter the world of “Ni no Kuni,” a reality parallel to his own. In Ni no Kuni, Drippy says Oliver may be able to find his mother, Arie. Using the newfound power of magic, Oliver and Drippy venture into Ni no Kuni. There, he befriends Maru, Gyro, and other alternative versions of people (and animals) he knows.”
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch comes out in the USA on January 22, 2013 and you can check out the Demo on the PS3 later today.
