Marvel Rivals Brings Back Season 0 Battle Pass But At A Higher Cost

Marvel Rivals has reintroduced its Season 0 Battle Pass for a brief period but the price has increased for players. The Battle Pass will become available for 590 Lattice starting May 15 which represents a price increase from its initial 490 Lattice cost. The Battle Pass re-release coincides with the Galacta’s Gift event and will stay available until May 29.

The Battle Pass provides the complete Season 0 content featuring exclusive Mantis and Hela and Black Panther skins. The current Battle Pass does not offer any free track rewards to players. The Luxury Battle Pass represents the only way to access Battle Pass rewards.

The developers have indicated that older Battle Passes will return in the future but with specific restrictions. The studio announced that Battle Pass returns in the future will need at least two seasons to develop and will cost at least 20% more than the original seasonal price. The company seems to want to protect early access value while giving new players access to past content.

The Galacta’s Gift event provides Nameplates and Sprays and Chrono Shield Cards as bonus rewards to encourage player logins and participation. The Battle Pass return with its increased price provides additional customization options and progression opportunities to both veteran and new players of Marvel Rivals.
