Parmount Anounces Anchorman 2 will have three cuts of the film.

By the beard of Zeus, it seems that nothing is able to stop Ron Burgundy and his Action Five news team. Not only has it been announced that a second “R-Rated” version of Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues is to be distributed in theaters at the end of the month; but yesterday Paramount announced that the Blu-ray version slated to hit shelves in early April will include a third version of the film.

The two-disc Blu-ray is set not to only include both a rated and unrated cut of theatrical film, but also including the super-sized R rated version. Along with the three cuts of the film there are hours special features said to be included in the release, Features such as a gag real, audio commentary, audition tapes, and something that is only listed as Anchorman 2 the musical that almost was. I have to admit for me the thought of an “all-musical version” of the film is quite enticing.

The Blu-ray version of the film is hitting the shelves on April 1st and the super-sized R rated version will be coming to a theater near you on February 28th.
