Warner Brothers unveils new poster for Man of Steel

Several weeks ago, Warner Bros. put up an inciting offer that gave fans the promise of an Exclusive Reward from the upcoming Superman reboot, Man of Steel, if fans would help promote the release of The Dark Knight Rises on Blu-Ray/DVD, and now the wait is finally over, and the reward was a first look at the new poster.

The new film star offers a fresh take on the beloved and widely popular character of Clark Kent/Superman, starting from his childhood and addressing his distance with the human race around him as he struggles with finding his purpose in life and what he was sent here to do with the power he has in him. The film will also show his struggles with the world around him as the evil General Zod (Michael Shannon)  appears and causes mankind to question Superman’s intentions as their savior or if he is really a villain.

Director Zack Snyder (Watchmen, 300) is bringing a new and unique take on Superman next year with the upcoming film Man of Steel. The film stars Henry Cavill (Immortals, The Tudors) playing Clark Kent/Superman, Amy Adams (The Fighter, The Muppets) as  Lois Lane, Russel Crow (Gladiator, Robin Hood) as Jor-El, Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix Trilogy) as Perry White and Kevin Costner (The Bodyguard, Dances with Wolves) as Jonathan Kent.

Man of Steel will have a new trailer attached to the release of The Hobbit on Dec 14th, and is coming to theaters in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on June 14.
