Transformers 4 will be Michael Bay’s last

In an upcoming feature on the new Universal Studios ride, “Transformers: The Ride – 3D“, Hero Complex  got an update on the fourth installment in Michael Bay’s Transformers franchise.

In it came the mention of some redesigned robots (possibly the main Autobots, and finally the removal of Optimus Prime’s stupid flames), and  reports that none of the original cast members will return, and a brief note on Michael Bay’s plan for the next movie.

The director, by the way, says that the fourth film will include some redesign of the robots and an entirely new cast. He also said it will be his last and set the franchise up “for the next guy.”

Although it has been said in the past that “this one is Michael Bay’s last” it is interesting to note the entire change up of the cast and possibly the bots themselves. Hopefully soon we can get some real reports and know whats going on once and for all.
