The Flash confirmed for Batman/Superman?

Earlier today, Variety broke the news that actress Gal Gadot would be playing non other than Wonder Woman in the upcoming Batman/Superman film. Along with that news came some equally intriguing tid-bits about some other casting in the film.

The Wonder Woman rumor has been kicking around for some time, and insiders believe the plan is to have not just Batman and Superman in the film but several members of the Justice League as well. It’s unclear which members, but Wonder Woman (Diana Prince) and the Flash are said to be locks to make an appearance in some fashion, whether that’s a significant role or a cameo.

Now this isn’t the first time we’ve heard this rumor, but unlike before, this time it was stated as fact not rumor. While no word yet on the validity of this reveal, or its casting,  many at this point are hoping that the previous rumor of Grant Gustin’s Flash from The CW’s Arrow’s will be the one we see in that cameo role.

Batman/Superman is currently slated for a July 17, 2015 release.
