First ‘Star Wars Rebels’ Teaser Trailer hits the web

Disney XD has released the first teaser trailer for the upcoming and highly anticipated animated Star Wars Rebels television series.

As many of you already know, Star Wars Rebels is set during that two-decade period between Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Episode IV: A New Hope

. The series will center around a teenaged character, and chronicle the birth of the Rebel Alliance, which some fans are hoping that implies will carry over into Star Wars The Force Unleashed territory.

Yup, thats it. The teaser trailer doesnt reveal much at all other than the obvious fact that its not in 2d-animation, but we do get to see a very familiar into of a ship and learn “the jedi will rise.”
