Nintendo Confirms First Ever Splatoon Spinoff Game

The squid-tacular adventure continues in a historic, bold new tie-in game.

Much to the surprise of casual and hardcore fans, Nintendo has announced the first ever spinoff game for the Splatoon franchise titled Splatoon Raiders.

As shown in the ink packed trailer below, players will help the mechanic explore and navigate through the mysterious Spirhalite Islands alongside Splatoon 3‘s idol group, Deep Cut.

In addition to the spinoff announcement, the trailer also confirmed a big update for Splatoon 3 in honor of the franchise’s 10th anniversary, ver. 10.0.0. The update adds a third variations of classic weapons with a fresh twist and the addition of the iconic stage from the first Splatoon game, Urchin Underpass. The update will be available to download on this Thursday, June 12th.

Splatoon Raiders is an exclusive title for the Switch 2 and has no official release date yet.
