‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ swings back into IMAX!

Across the Spider-Verse is coming back to theaters for a limited showing!

You don’t have to be a Spider-Man fan to have heard of the “Spider-Verse” series. The wildly successful and popular Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse of 2018 was followed up in 2023 by Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The story follows Miles Morales, a teenager who gets bitten by a spider and becomes his dimension’s new Spider-Man! He teams up with Spider-people from other dimensions – like Spider-Gwen and Spider-Ham – in what is truly a Marvel fan’s fever dream.

Now, fans can rewatch the 2023 sensation in IMAX in select theaters on Friday, January 19th! Christopher Miller – writer and producer of Across the Spider-Verse – posted about the film’s rerelease on X.

For many fans, being able to rewatch – or watch for the first time – Miles Morales swing into action in IMAX will get them to the theater. IMAX is meant to give the audience the biggest watching experience – and for a film so acclaimed for its breathtaking animation, many will probably see this as the opportune way to experience the movie.
