WB Dates Nine DC Comics Movies and Two Event Movies

Over the last few months rumors have been circulating about a list of films that DC had begun to plan, and many were pointing to Comic Con as the alleged date that DC and WB would debut the official announcement for these films.

Then Comic Con came and went and no dates were revealed.

But now, Warner and DC’s plan has been officially revealed. They have announced 9 primary DC films and two untitled event films (which admittedly may not be DC films).Box Office Mojo has revealed the full list:

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice – March 25, 2016

Untitled DC Film – August 5, 2016

Untitled DC Film – June 23, 2017

Untitled DC Film – November 17, 2017

Untitled DC Film – March 23, 2018

Untitled DC Film – July 27, 2018

Untitled WB Event Film – November 16, 2018

Untitled DC Film – April 5, 2019

Untitled DC Film – June 14, 2019

Untitled DC Film – April 3, 2020

Untitled DC Film – June 19, 2020

Untitled WB Event Film – November 20, 2020

Rumors are now speculating that this list is the same as the previous one, including Wonder Woman, Shazam, Flash, Green Lantern, Sandman, Justice League, and various team up films. While many are stating that this is in direct response to Marvel revealing their Phase 3 plans, DC dropping 9 films is a huge move on their part. Only time will tell what they are planning.
