Thanks to a new report from Bleeding Cool the previous rumors that Doomsday would appear in the upcoming Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice seems to be legitimate.
They claim that close sources have provided them with a look at character designs for the film, proving that not only was the character being designed for the film, but also planned for use.
However, Since the report went live other sources on the internet have corroborated the report, one of which being Luke Thompson Of ToplessRobot, who stated:
Now, Bleeding Cool’s overall policy on rumors tends to be one of throwing everything to the wall to see what sticks, but I have a few sources of my own, and what I’m hearing is that this is legit info. That doesn’t necessarily mean he’s in the final film, considering that they seem to have changed direction a few times…but I’m fairly certain he’s been featured in at least one planned iteration of it. Even the Man of Steel Blu-ray hints at it.
So its likely that with Lex Luthor being the primary antagonist of the film, we may see the storyline where Lex finds Doomsday and pits him against Superman in a bloody fist fight, which in the comics led to the death of the man of steel.
Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice is currently set for a May 6th, 2016 release date.
