Marvel has officially cast Thanos for the MCU

News broke recently that Marvel had officially cast the role of Thanos for the MCU. The biggest surprise was not that he was cast, but that they wont reveal who it is.

In a recent interview with Empire Magazine, Marvel’s Kevin Feige revealed:

“There is an actor. I’m not sure we want to announce it yet.”

Fans are already aware of Thanos’s cameo at the end of The Avengers, and speculation and rumors suggest that he will have a full on reveal in the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy, but many should know that his role in the MCU is much more than that.

With the subtle tease of the inclusion of the Infinity Gem’s, as well as the Infinity Gauntlet in Thor, many are starting to draw the conclusion that we may end up seeing a loose adaptation of The Infinity Gauntlet mini-series by the time Avengers 3 hits theaters.
