Bryan Cranston responds to those Lex Luthor rumours
While it may not be the most recent of responses, it does seem to be more and more relevant given that the rumors that Bryan Cranston is up for playing Lex Luthor seem to keep gaining momentum.
A little over a week ago, Metro caught up with actor Bryan Cranston and go to asking him what he thinks about the rumors that he’s being considered for Lex Luthor:
“give me a call”
The article reported that he said that with a notably “mischievous” smile, but then would go on to state his feelings on the character:
“I like Lex Luthor, I think he’s misunderstood. He’s a loveable, sweet man.”
The actor does go on to state that taking on the role would seem to disappoint one important person in his life, his wife, and for one reason in particular above anything else.
“She wasn’t so keen on the bald head, The bald head ages a man. It’s just that she didn’t know me that way.”“The last six years it’s all of a sudden like sleeping with a stranger — who was less exciting than her own husband. So I don’t blame her for being upset.”
So there you have it. For all we know, WB/DC has already made the call that he so clearly invited them to do, if so, then this film may be getting another huge name to its already star studded cast.
