Henry Cavill Doesn’t Think That A JUSTICE LEAGUE Movie Is Going To Be Just “Around The Corner”
In a recent interview with ABC NEWS (shared via Digital Spy), Man Of Steel lead Henry Cavill addressed the recent rumors that DC/WB is prepping to have a JUSTICE LEAGUE film set for 2015.
Here is what the actor had to say:
“Justice League could be great if done correctly. It’s a very tough one to do because the DC comic heroes are all god-like in their power. So in this real world setting we’re telling our story in, it’s going to be tough to achieve that and it has to be done very delicately with a lot of thought. So, it won’t be right away, I hope it’s not anyway. It may take some time of building up other movies and other characters and introducing them together in one way or another. I think it would be great to do, but I don’t think it’s around the corner.”
With Man Of Steel already having grossed more than $400 million at the worldwide box office, and the recent rumors that Man Of Steel 2 is being fast-tracked with both director Zack Snyder and screenwriter David S Goyer returning for the film, its only a matter of time to see if we do end up getting a JUSTICE LEAGUE film, and I for one agree with Cavill, WB/DC needs to take their time and come out with something perfect instead of trying to rush through it. These Characters deserve it.
