[E3 2013] Pokemon X and Y coming Oct. 12

Nintendo announced during its E3 press conference today that not only will Pokemon X and Y come out worldwide on Oct. 12th of this year, but it will also include a new Pokemon Type.

The new Fairy type will be introduced with new Pokemon Sylveon. Becausde of this, some existing Pokemon that we have already known over the years will also be reclassified as Fairy-type, including Jigglypuff, Marril and Gardevoir. Its been revealed that the new Fairy-type Pokemon will be strong against Dragon Pokemon.

Pokemon X and Y will launch worldwide on Oct. 12 for 3DS.
