Thor gets a new costume in THOR: THE DARK WORLD

 

Recently filming began for THOR: THE DARK WORLD  in  Bourne Wood, Surrey, England, and with it, star Chris Hemsworth had finally arrived to the shoot, sporting a new slightly modified THOR costume.

Set photos hit the web thanks to Splash News and feature Thor and The Lady Sif rehearsing and filming various fight scenes.

The new film is rumored to be exploring Thor’s relationship with the Asgardian all-father Odin, as well his earthbound love interest Jane Foster, with his evil half-brother, Loki, returning to for Asgard for justice due to his actions in THOR and The Avengers.

THOR: THE DARK WORLD stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Christopher Eccleston, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba,  Jaimie Alexander, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Stellan Skarsgard, Ray Stevenson, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Rene Russo, Alice Krige and Kat Dennings.

Alan Taylor (“Game of Thrones”) is now taking over directorial duties from Kenneth Branagh (THOR).

THOR: THE DARK WORLD is set for release on November 8, 2013.
