Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura confirms DinoBots for Transformers 4

In a recent interview with the Beijing News, Transformers Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura confirmed that that Dinobots will indeed appear in the film.

“I can not disclose the specifics, but you can be sure that the joining of the Dinobots will give the audience new excitement. In addition to Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, the appearance of these classic roles changed, today the world’s coolest, most exciting cars will appear in the film, including China’s vehicles, whether you are a car enthusiast, you will feast your eyes and be shocked by them.”

When Iron Man 3 was released earlier in the year, as well as Looper, both films were given a special Chinese cut of the film. The idea of doing this is still highly-ridiculed because not only do those versions exist only in China, but many felt it was simply product placement.

Fans have been worried that a similar deal may have been struck with Transformers 4, the producer has now put to rest that rumor.

“I know that “Iron Man 3” had a special edition released in China, but “Transformers 4″ will only have one version globally, In China we have chosen Beijing and Hong Kong, as well as two more cities we are looking at.”

Transformers 4 is currently set for a US release on June 27, 2014.
