Batman may appear in DC’s Suicide Squad film

With production gearing up for David Ayer’s upcoming Suicide Squad adaptation for DC/WB, it’s no surprise that the rumor mill is starting to already turn. With the recent alleged plot leaks making their way online, we now have a new report from Forbes of all places stating that Ben Affleck’s Batman will be appearing in the films epilogue.

I’ve heard for weeks that Batman will appear in Suicide Squad, supposedly in an in-story scene, likely at the end of the film and focused on certain circumstances involving the Joker (which I won’t spoil here).

So what is the purpose of the scene? According to the site, it’s to set up for the upcoming solo-Batman film which will once again pit the Joker against Batman.

Suicide Squad is set to hit theaters next year on August 5th 2016.
