Netflix Renews DanDaDan for Season 2

Momo and Ken’s days of supernatural spirit slaying aren’t over yet!

Netflix has announced that the popular hit anime, DanDaDan, has been renewed for a second season via X (formerly Twitter). The show and the manga which it’s adapted from follows two high school teenagers named Momo Ayase and Ken Takakura who possess supernatural powers and use them to fight yōkai (supernatural spirits) and aliens with help from multiple allies they make along the way.

DanDaDan has made massive waves on not only social media, but also Netflix’s Top 10 week after week globally. With discussions about the events that occurred in a new episode taking place on a weekly basis and the viewership numbers to back it up, this anime has definitely shown Netflix executives that the demand for more DanDaDan is there and needs to be satiated.

With the renewal confirmed, Netflix has also solidified a release date for the upcoming season: July 2nd, 2025. Fans can watch the final new episode today and get excited for more supernatural insanity coming their way next year.
