Tom Holland’s Spider-Man idea already in ‘Captain America: Brave New World’
It’s no secret that the MCU is expanding, and that includes both a fourth Spider-Man and Captain America film. And while Captain America: Brave New World is set to release next Valentine’s Day, Spider-Man 4 is a bit further down the road. Tom Holland, our latest beloved live-action Spidey, is pitching his own ideas for his fourth film. And while not all are making the cut, that’s not because they’re bad ideas – it’s because his idea is already in the next Captain America movie.
In a recent podcast with Rich Roll, Holland revealed that he’d pitched an idea for Spider-Man 4 that got rejected because it’s already going to be apart of the fourth Captain America film. But he wasn’t disheartened by it. “It’s really cool to just see how they’ve got this vision for the future,” Holland said. Clearly, whatever his idea was must have been a good one, and fans won’t have to wait until his movie to see it!
Now, the question you may be asking is: what was the idea? Sadly, we don’t know. But whatever it was it surely will contribute to the future of the MCU, and fans won’t have to wait long to see it on the big screen.
Captain America: Brave New World, starring Anthony Mackie, Liv Tyler, and Harrison Ford, flies into theaters on February 14, 2025.
