Pokémon Leak Hints At New Tropical Setting For Generation 10

Fairly recently, Game Freak, the longtime developer of the Pokémon franchise, has been hacked. According to the leaked data from this hack as reported by Comicbook.com and leaker Centro Leaks over on X (formerly Twitter), the new setting for the next installment just might be a new tropical region, more specifically, an archipelago of islands.

The successor to Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet has not been officially revealed at this time, nor has an official release date. Much of the intricate details regarding generation 10 (colloquially dubbed “Gen 10” by active internet users) such as starter Pokémon, legendary Pokémon, and potential new game mechanics & features are currently being kept under wraps.
