‘My Adventures With Superman’ Season 2 gets a release date and trailer

Mark your calendars; Season 2 is coming sooner than you think.

Adult Swim is set to launch the eagerly anticipated Season 2 of My Adventures with Superman on Saturday, May 25, at midnight ET/PT. Fans can look forward to a double feature premiere night followed by weekly episodes that promise to amp up the adventures of the young trio from Metropolis—Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Jimmy Olsen.

Building on a foundation laid by an exciting first season, fans of the DC universe will be thrilled to see a number of new villains, including the reveal that Alex is actually Lex Luthor, and new additions such as Atomic Skull and Blockbuster. We also see a few dramatic encounters with Livewire and Deathstroke, and a few brief glimpses of what look like Parademons, potentially setting the stage for a future clash with Darkseid.

Adding to the excitement, the trailer revealed a significant character debut—Supergirl. Kara Zor-El’s arrival in the animated series is poised to shake things up for the better-known Kryptonian on Earth, her cousin Clark.
