The CW is prepping another Arrow/Flash Spinoff

In an already crowded group of Comic Book TV shows, Deadline has broken the news that The CW is prepping another Superhero show set in the Arrow/Flash TV Universe. This one however is going to be a little different.

So who is going to be in this show? None other than Brandon Routh, Victor Garber, Wentworth Miller, and Caity Lotz. Yes you read that right, fans are getting a new show that is featuring The Atom, Captain Cold, The Canary, and 1/2 of Firestorm.

But thats not all, the report also revealed the following:

The untitled project, now in development, is described as a superhero team-up show.

The project is in early stages of development, so there is a possibility for other Arrow/Flash characters to cross over to the new spinoff. Additionally, in a tidbit that should get fans fired up, I have learned the new project will include three major DC Comics characters who have never appeared in a TV series.

Whats most interesting is the fact that Caity Lotz is listed in the casting. Her character, The Canary, was brutally killed in the first episode of Arrow’s 3rd season. So what does that mean? That means simply that this announcement may have just ruined a huge surprise that the showrunners had for the latter half of this season.

With this new show poised to debut this fall season, that means fans should be expecting at least 3 shows a week set in this DC universe on the CW.
