Players Get A Surprise Legendary Item This Week In Destiny

It seems good things do come to those who wait, earlier today, Bungie announced that Destiny players will be receiving a special item this week.

“A small, but Legendary token of gratitude is being prepped for delivery later this week,” the developer says. “We’ll let you know when to check the Postmaster.”

Fans of the game should note that this was actually hinted at right before the Holiday Break with their not so subtle Christmas Card:

Since that card, fans were speculating that Bungie was going to be doing just this, and thanks to the Xbox Live and PlayStation Network hacks that occurred on Christmas Day, its likely that Bungie just pushed their plans a couple weeks.

So no word yet on what will be given, it could be a piece of armor, a weapon, or something silly like a new skin for your personal Ghost. Either way, fans will be getting their free stuff soon enough.
