When Marvel revealed that Scott Derrickson was tapped to direct the sorcerer supreme Doctor Strange in his titular film fans went nuts over the news, then when Marvel revealed the casting of Benedict Cumberbatch in the rule it felt like a dream come true.
Now, thanks to the wonders of twitter we may have our first look at the Doctor himself, at least in what appears to be in the form of some pre-production artwork.
What many have noticed is the obvious Tony Stark Goatee that the doctor is sporting, which is likely due to the fact that this is still pre-production. But either way, this is a fantastic first look if the director was simply trying to show fans the feel of the project.
Doctor Strange is currently a part of Marvel Phase 3 and set for a November 4, 2016 release date.
