Variety has broken the news that Marvel’s upcoming Phase 3 film ‘Dr. Strange’ will officially be directed by Scott Derrickson, recently known for directing the highly popular horror film “Sinister.”
No official word yet on cast, but many fans are taking the news of this announcement very well. The director had proven he is very capable with Sinister and some are even rumoring that Marvel plans to take the Doctor Strange film to its supernatural and horror roots.
