Here’s some fantastic E3 news for Pokemon fans: the long-awaited Ruby and Sapphire remakes have an official release date.
The Gen 3 Pokemon remakes have been rumored to be in the works for a long time, following Nintendo’s pattern to release remakes after new generation releases. The release was confirmed about a month ago, and as of E3, we have a release date.
Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are set to hit shelves worldwide November 21st, 2014. The games will be for the 3DS, and will feature 3D battle sequences and Mega Evolutions, similar to the latest generation releases, Pokemon X and Y. Checkout the gameplay trailer below:
