X-Men: Days Of Future Past’s Writer explains the Post-Credit Scene
**WARNING – MAJOR SPOILERS FOR X-MEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST AHEAD**
IGN recently caught up with writer Simon Kinberg and got him talking about that surprise end credit scene (can be seen here) which featured a young, and very powerful, En Sabah Nur aka Apocalypse:
“The post-credit sequence is a tease into what will be the Apocalypse movie. Now the Apocalypse you see – that young boy – may not be the actor who plays the character in our movie. It’s a deep back story glimpse into the character, but our movie doesn’t take place in ancient Egypt and will likely not star a young boy Apocalypse.”:
Now this comes as no big surprise that they don’t plan on giving focus to the young adolescent titular villain, but rather the monstrous mutant that fans know from the comic. Only time will tell if we get the hulking monster from the comics, or something fairly ridiculous that fans have learned to expect from Fox and Singer.
X-Men Apocalypse is currently set for a May 27, 2016 release date.
