Michael Douglas Briefly Talks Ant-Man

Yesterday it was revealed that actor Michael Douglas would be playing Hank Pym in the upcoming Marvel film Ant-Man. Shortly after it was revealed that both Hank Pym and Scott Lang (Paul Rudd will be playing Lang) will feature in the film, and part of the film will take place in the 60’s with a younger (yet to be cast) Hank Pym.

Now an an interview with Reuters has given fans a little more insight on Douglas’s feelings towards taking the role:

”I’ve been dying to do a Marvel picture for so long. The script is really fun, the director is really good. Dylan (the actor’s 13-year-old son) will love it. He’ll have a picture he can see.”

When asked about his contract and if he will be involved in Sequels (or even the Avengers), Douglas responded with:

“(Marvel) reciprocated well, there are sequels. Who knows?”

Ant-Man is set to be released in theaters on July 31, 2015.
