“… Warner Brothers quietly began getting its own all-star superhero pic back on track, tapping “Gangster Squad” scribe Will Beall to write “Justice League,” based on the WB-controlled stable of DC Comics superheroes.”
Along with this report comes news that DC & WB have started this development process due to the financial success of The Avengers and it is important for them to find the right creative individuals who understand the characters in the same way Joss Whedon did with The Avengers.
It was also mentioned in the report is their decision to move ahead with the Batman franchise following Christopher Nolan’s departure and that they won’t be making any firm moves or decisions on the characters future, any of these films until the release of The Dark Knight Rises.
