A First Look at the Autobot Hound from ‘Transformers 4′ hits the web

While we knew for sometime that this next film would be bringing new Autobot’s into the mix, I for one did not expect one of my favorites to be added. Autobot Hound has now been officially revealed as a new addition to the team, sporting a very new military design rather than the iconic jeep that he was in the 80s show.

Whit the reveal Michael Bay gives us a tiny little bit of insight with the character.

The always rugged and reliable Hound, one of the Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles from Oshkosh Defense.

A first-generation Autobot, Hound was released into Transformers’ first year – 1984 and was one of the smallest of the standard sized Autobot cars. Hound’s alternate mode is that of a 4X4 military jeep, and comes with three different weapons – a Missile Launcher, a Machine Gun and a Hologram Gun.

Hound is known for his love of the planet Earth, his tracking skills, and the ability to project highly realistic holograms. He secretly wishes to be human.

TRANSFORMERS 4 is set to open in the US on June 27, 2014.
