Kick-Ass 2 is Happening This Year

The sequel to the profanity-laced, superhero comedy film Kick-Ass is scheduled to be released June 28, 2013.

Kick-Ass and Hit Girl are back for thier next adventure. After watching the news, other civilians take to a mask and put justice into there own hands. A new villain (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) has risen up and these “heroes” need to band together. Joining the original cast will be: Jim Carry as Colonel Stars and Stripes, Lindy Booth as Night Bitch, and Robert Emma as Insect Man. With Kick-Ass and Hit Girl, these justice dealing friends are called “Justice Forever”.

Jeff Wadlow will be directing this sequel, taking over the directing role from Matthew Vaughn. I won’t lie. I’m a little worried thanks to Jeff Wadlow’s recent movies. Hopefully he does it justice for all of us Kick-Ass fans.
