Peacemaker Season 2 Trailer is Here

The trailer for James Gunn’s Peacemaker season 2 is out. Max will premiere the 8-episode season on August 21.

The season 2 trailer seems to hint at how Peacemaker might make his move from the DCEU to the DCU in the series as we see the character come face to face with another version of himself. It’s still up for speculation, but what is clear is that Peacemaker will encounter characters from the DCU. The trailer gives us the surprise introduction of Hawkgirl and Guy Gardener from the upcoming Superman movie.

John Cena is joined by Robert Patrick, Jennifer Holland, Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, and Frank Grillo. Grillo plays Rick Flag Sr. the Father of Rick Flag Jr. In the 2021 James Gunn movie The Suicide Squad Peacemaker kills Rick Flag Jr. The trailer sets up an eventual conflict for the two characters with Rick Flag Sr. clearly out for revenge.

Peacemaker season 2 arrives August 21 on Max.
