Andor Season 2 Trailer Prepares For War With The Empire

The trailer for Andor season 2 has dropped giving fans the first look at what the exciting series has in store for the rebel alliance and Empire.

Despite Season 1 having a lower viewership compared to some other Star Wars series, the critically hailed series was considered one of the best in 2022, a fact the trailer reminds us of. Many fans are highly anticipating season 2, which is likely to be a big hit on Disney+.

The construction of the Death Star was teased at the very end of season 1 of Andor. It looks like season 2 will be focusing a little more on the construction this time going by the trailer as Ben Mendelsohn‘s Krennic watches on with a glint in his eye. As we head towards it’s completion, it will set up the story for not only Rogue One but A New Hope as well.

Disney+ will release Andor Season 2 on April 22nd. The series consists of 3 episodes weekly, to be released over the course of 4 weeks. Creator and executive producer Tony Gilroy shared that each chapter of episodes will cover stories in the 4 years leading up to Andor’s eventual fate in Rogue One. Gilroy had considered making 5 seasons of the show originally. He realized though that such a prospect wasn’t realistic with each season taking two years to produce. Instead, each 3 episode arc of season 2 will reflect the 4 year outline that was planned.

Andor season 2 stars Diego Luna as Cassian Andor. He will joined by Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O’Reilly, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker, Alan Tudyk and Kyle Soller. It arrives April 22nd on Disney+
